Ive got the following setup:

Asus P6T Deluxe Intel X58 board
G.Skill 6GB DDR3 NQ PC3-12800C9 1600MHz (3x2GB) Triple Channel DDR3
Intel Core i7 920 2.66Ghz

Currently not touched anything in the bios as I really dont know what is what, always used AMD previously and had DDR1.

Is it worth tinkering and overclocking stuff etc for real world results. I dont benchmark etc, just wondering would I see a difference in windows (got ultimate 64bit vista) and games, photoshop etc

If there is a difference I would actually see could anyone help me out with the settings and stuff?

Cheers,
Ash

As above. If you're not hardcore into overclocking, then you don't need to push the boundaries of what you can achieve from that kit. Given this, you might as well overclock at least a bit. I wouldn't have thought pushing 3ghz would be too hard.

After paying so much cash for that gear you might as well get a little bit extra for free ;)
