Potential upgrade advise

Was thinking of getting the H100i later on, would you recommend it then?

Think my build will have the Hyperx Predator.

Currently there's a bit of an annoyance with the H100i.

With the early firmware you got a "ticking" sound at the fans lowest RPM.

If you flash to the later firmware then this was replaced with a "whining" noise at medium+ speeds.

But it seems Corsair are now offering replacement fans to fix this - http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showpost.php?p=632588&postcount=13

I dont know if the units in stock have the fixed fans or not (maybe worth asking in the customer service section)

Beginning of the month I bought the XFX Double D Radeon HD 7950 3072MB.

Sorry to say a lot was not purchased from OcUK as I detest DPD delivery service which is a real shame as I love OcUK and have bought a lot of my components from them. Also it came down to the cost and my bonus wasn't as much as I had hoped for.

Maybe a build log but probably just pictures to follow.

All the parts arrived this morning and I've just finished putting it together, just sorting the drivers and hdd's. Got a bit of a scare when windows activation said I'd have to buy a new copy! Managed to call activation phone line and got it sorted :)

Looking good man, is this your first build? You done a good job with the cable management ;)

Also I believe you have broken a rule regarding picture size :p

Already re-sized :)

I've been dabbling with building since 2001. But its my first proper build in about 6 years, well except for the one I helped my friend do the other week.

Really hard to get it tidy round the back.

Yeah I don't bother with the back due to the case I have, maybe I would try it in your case :p But if I'm honest cable management is meant to be how it looks from the front anyway
