Potential Upgrade

Thinking about upgrading in the new year. Current Spec is one of OcUK's Battlefield builds.

- Antec 300 Ultimate Gaming Case
- Intel Core i5 2500k 3.30GHz @ 4.40GHz
- Asus GeForce GTX 560 1024MB GDDR5
- Gigabyte Z68AP-D3 Intel Z68 DDR3 Motherboard
- Kingston HyperX Genesis Grey 8GB(4x2GB) DDR3
- Samsung 120GB 850 EVO SSD

Budget: £400-500.
Use: Arma, CS:GO, Rocket League, Maybe some new releases.

Quite fancy a Carbide case

A new GPU and perhaps a bigger SSD and you'll be good to go - the rest of your system is fine.

Imo a 390 would be perfect in your case.

Reviving this old thread, so I never got round to upgrading and with the 1070's now on the market, what are peoples opinions now?

Mainly playing Overwatch atm but will be looking to play Battlefield 1 once released and maybe Gears.

If you got the cash for a 1070, a decent 1440 screen and a bigger SSD then I would do that. If you're not going to go for 1440 in the next 2 years then get an AMD 480 instead.
