Quick question all. I'm getting a new dvd drive and fan controller tomorrow. As I'm taking apart my computer anyway I was wondering if I should change the power leads setup.
Currently I have a dvd drive with it's own power connector, an extractor fan with it's own 4 pin molex power cable (as it doesn't have 3/4pin to go into the motherboard). I also have 2 hardrives sharing the one cable. Obviously I have things like gfx/mobo as well but they dont use the 4 pin molex.
What I was wondering is if I should try and keep things on seperate cables, or combine them so I have my new fan controller go on the same cable as my dvd drive?
