Power connector help

I ordered a 4-pin din power adaptor for an lcd tv from ebay which turned out to be the wrong one. The seller gave me a full refund and said i can keep the adaptor and that the reason it did not work was that the + and - pinouts were the wrong way. Would it be possible to modify the the pinouts on this adaptor to make it usable?

The correct pin layout is on the pics.

Should be a doddle to cut the cable & put a terminal block in swapping pins around. I suppose it is the correct Voltage & Amperage ? (Bet this gets moved out of GD)
