Bought as self build specs here http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18598847

Fitted both the PSU ( SuperFlower Golden Green HX 550W "80 Plus Gold" Power Supply - Black) and the GFX VTX3D Radeon R9 280 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card)

There doesn't seem to be any connector for the GFX card There is a PCI express connector 6 pin but nothing for the 8 pin next to it on the GFX, the GFX also wont power up with just the pci express connector?

This has got me stumped any help would be welcomed
Thanks

The power supply will have a second connector which will be a 6 pin with a extra 2 pins hanging off to one side.

The 6 pin connectors should have a 2 pin which splits off from it. Put the 2 pins next to the 6, they should fit together as there are ridges on it, and that will work fine.

Sorted many thanks for your help :)

However when I power up fans on GFX spin fine system starts for about 3 seconds then auto shuts down and restarts by itself into a loop ?

No probs :)

Is the power connector for the CPU installed - normally 8 pin.

Also try a CMOS reset.

Also depends on the motherboard, my Asus V Gene does that on a cold boot occasionally.
