Power cut insanity

Indeed. There was a paper published by a scientist about reef life - he found over 1 million different species of creatures living on a single rock! There's probably more species on a reef than the entire surface of the planet. you can easy see how they have evolved to exploit every aspect of their environment. You could study their symbiotic relationships for 1000's of years and never come close to understanding how complex it is. Its a fascinating subject.

Oops yeah 15" Bunka.
Agreed. Here's one of my favourites:

This is a large picture to show the detail - it's a spaghetti worm with tendrils that stretch up to around 12". You can see each of the tendrils passing tiny particles to the centre of the creature which is how it feeds. Unfortunately, I haven't seen it in a while as it's moved somewhere :(

Another picture but of a really tiny creature this time, a tiny jellyfish:

The frag idea sounds great, but whereabouts are you? I've never bought or sent a frag by post before.

While the fish are great of course, a marine tank has so much more in it than just fish which is why some people don't even bother with fish in their marine tank at all.

I cant find that article now. I also remember reading about new species found in the deep waters of the great barrier reef, it was something like 1 out of every 5 dives will discover a new species of fish!

keep quoiting myself instead of editing :D

I'm from St. Helens, Merseyside. Email me your address and I'll post you some frags. I don't want anything in return.

I can frag that yellow bush coral, a nice white Kenya tree, some pink and luminescent green mushrooms and some green star polyps if you like.

I'll post some images shortly.

Great, I'm in Warrington, probably don't even need to post then - have you seen the place in Grappenhall yet? (just off out so email later) :)
