At about 11.30 teesside all the house alarms were going off as I drove past....said on the radio an hour later two power stations went offline within minutes of each other...that was all they said apart from some area still having problems.
I didn't lose power.

The Times said:Thousands of people in South London were without electricity as the power shut some businesses. The cut lasted less than an hour but it affected stations, such as Clapham Junction, and caused road problems as traffic lights went out. North of London, Watford was also hit.
