= 110/230
=0.47 amps??

That's right :)

wattage divided by voltage = amperage
kva times 1000 divided by the voltage = amperage

so you only need a 500mA or above supply

Technically that is true but if you're being a stickler like that you must also hold that there is no such thing as voltage, there is only electric potential difference.
