How do you run a microwave off a 400w inverter? Most Microwaves generate at least 800w, plus inefficiencies that must equate to well over 1000w power consumption.

Iirc, its only a 350 watt. - Bought from a truckstop for the purpose. - Not a regular kitchen microwave! - it has no mains plug, its designed for vehicles.

And very little of that 64% goes on into heat in the food, the frequency of microwave energy generates goes up and down over a narrow range of frequencies 50 times a second, the frequency that affects H2O is somewhere in the middle of this range, very crude.
