I was wondering if someone could help me.

I just went to turn my rig on and it didn't boot up. the pc started, fans started to spin but the screen just said no cable connected and then it just stopped. I was wondering what the problem might be?

spec.

gigabyte 7950
kuhler cooler
corsair vengeance lp

sorry gigabyte z77x 3dh.

no I havnt touched the bios, the cable is on the gpu. I tried it again there and when I pressed the button it glowed for a split second and then nothing.

im wondering it it the power unit?

the cpu fan stays spinning? or it spins for a while then shuts down/off?

tested without the gpu installed and use onboard graphics? you might need updated bios to get the graphic card working, can also try it in the second pcie slot

the rig isn't working at all now, it has went caput but all of the fans were working when I originally did try to boot it up tonight.

try removing the motherboard battery, leave it out a good 5 minutes then put back in and try

so to clarify no fans spin at all now when you power it on?

anyway you can test with another psu?

makesure the 24 pin and the 4pin or 8pin psu plugs are fully plugged into the board

im afraid I cant mate, I would have to take the plunge and buy a new one. I tried all the cables and they are all connected up.
