Just putting my problem out there to see if people agree on the problem

I've just bought 2gig of Geil ram to go with my existing 2gig.
However When I put in all 4 the system refuses to boot. I don't even get an image on the screen.

If I remove one of the new ones it starts fine. I've tried both the new ram and both work as a 3 with the existing 2 so I don't think there's a problem with the ram.

My power supply is a Corsair HX 520W.
I've got 1 IDE drive and 4 sata drives and 1 dvd writer.
Graphics card is a Gainward BLISS GeForce 8800 GTS 640MB
processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E6600
Motherboard: Asus P5N-E SLi nForce 650

Is there a chance that its just the power supply not being able to cope with all 4 in at once ?

Just wanting to get people opinions before I waste some more ££ on a more powerfull power supply.

I doubt its PSU, memory doesnt use much power inc omparison to other components. Try updating to the latest bios first, and clearing CMOS

yeah that's why I thought it a bit strange. Will give the bios a flash and reset the CMOS tomorrow, had enough playing tonight.

But with all 4 in it don't even get to the BIOS screen, or it does but the picture won't come on the screen.

Another thing where I don't think its the power supply is i've tried disconnecting nearly all the sata drives and still the same. So BIOS it is.
