Hi guys, I'm teetering on the edge of buying a new bundle to upgrade my PC so I can use a capture card I bought that I couldn't then use.

This is the bundle i'm looking at:

I was just wondering what you guys would recommend as a suitable power supply to go with that bundle.

It'll have that bundle, plus 512Mb graphics card, 2 (maybe 3) hard drives and two optical drives.

I don't need any overkill on it, just a good enough PSU to comfortably run all that with a decent amount of breathing space for any future additions.

Also, i'm not looking to spend a ton since money is tight, but if anyone could point me towards suitable modular PSUs i'd really appreciate it. My current PC is a mess of un-used power cables.

Thanks loads guys!

Bob

More than enough, my system which had crossfire 5850 and i7 @ 4ghz pulls 430w ~ full load from the mains.

ahh sweet. i knew that more is better really but i didn't want to go overboard and get a 1000watter or anything. Rather be safe than not have enough power though.

Thanks for replying so fast by the way.

Assuming i can pluck up the courage I'll buy my bundle and probs that BeQuiet! tomorrow.

Thanks
