Power Supply Enough

Hi there.

Would the Seasonic G Series 360W PSU be enough for the following:

Intel 4670K overclocked 4.2-4.4GHZ
Gigabyte Z87 X UD3H
Creative X-Fi Xtreme Gamer
WD VelociRaptor 150GB
DVD Rewriter
Antec 1200 (upto 7 case fans)
Team Vulcan 2x4GB 2133MHZ
Thermalright Silver Arrow Cpu Cooler
Ati 4850 Gpu

If it is close I can remove the Ati 4850 and use the IGP of the Haswell. If either way 360w is not enough would the Seasonic G Series 450W be OK?

It states ~450W for your setup.

The Radeon GPU alone makes 200W difference in the calculator...

I think without the gpu you would be ok. With the gpu you would need the 450w

450w would work, 360w would probably be cutting it close. If you haven't bought a PSU yet and you're looking for one around that price range one of these would do nicely:

The g360 is plenty for that system. You'll never exceed 200w load.

200w?? Not according to every calculator on the net. On my opinion the 360 would possibly be ok but would be cutting it a bit fine.

360w from a decent brand (seasonic is a good choice) is fine for your spec.

Calculators are not always accurate (not to mention most of them show the recommended psu wattage, not the actual usage). I guarantee that system will never use more than 200w. It's not possible, just look at the TDP of his components.

Surely overkill is always better on Wattage as long as the PSU is of decent quality and certification?
