Power Supply for 7700k

What power supply would you guys recommend for a 7700k...probably 3 ssd and 2 hdd 1070gtx maybe 1080 the usual water cooler h100i and around 5 or 6 fans ...ive been looking at the corsair RM650X but not sure it thats enough power thanks

also maybe overclocking cpu aswell

A quality 550w psu would be more than enough even with overclocking. To give you a idea of power draw the pc in my siggy along with several fans, temp sensors, 2x fan controllers and all the watercooling stuff hit a max of just under 300w at the wall when benching with the gpu heavily overclocked. This is with the cpu and memory overclocked as well. Normal gaming use is no more than 252w at the wall. The current gen of Nvidia cards are extremely efficient. I would probably be looking at one of the EVGA Supernova G2/G3 units right now.

I'd agree with pastymuncher. A quality 550W unit should be ample for a single GPU setup. The EVGA Supernova G2/G3 units are great. I've got G2s in all my PCs and haven't had a lick of trouble with them so far.

So would you recommend the evga over the corsair one.

Quality wise there is noting in it as all of them are top quality psu's. The Corsair has a 10 year warranty while the EVGA G2/G3 550w has 7 years (only EVGA's 750w+ units have the 10 year warranty). EVGA's customer service is excellent though and now has a UK based place to send them to in the case of a RMA. Have a read of some reviews. Corsair RM550x, Corsair RM650x, EVGA G2 550w, EVGA G2 650w, EVGA G3 550w, No reviews of the EVGA G3 650w yet.

Thanks helped me out a lot im usually a corsair buyer case...memory...power supply...headset among other ill look into the evga thanks again

Id defo recommend getting yourself a very good and reliable 600Watt power supply, and give the online power calculators to confirm an estimate of what you need.
