most high end-ish boards will have an 8 pin connector, the tx650 comes with an 8pin which separates into 2x 4pins so you can use it on mobos with a 4pin connector as well.
well most motherboards take a 24/20pin power connector and a 4/8 pin cpu power connector.
almost all new power supplies (ATX) give toy a 20 pin with an add-on 4pin and 4pin with add-on 4pin
so they support all types.
dell and other big name brands sometimes like to make there own keyed power connectors so you can only buy from them, best to just make sure before you buy i guess
dont think there are many systems that us AT style power supplies or motherboards now,
