***Powercolor PCS+ R9 290 Mini Review***

The +50mv voltage will be there to ensure stability for the core and memory overclocks. Would be overkill for my cards though which can both do 1100/1400 on +0.000mv.

Yep :) My card is stable at +0mV though which is pretty nice. In fact I can OC to 1100Mhz at +0mV.

EDIT: :D

Nice. I highly recommend under volting where possible. This is the best i can do whilst retaining maximum stability on both cards.

Unfortunately the memory does not like such extremely negative voltages, so have to leave that at stock but its great for keeping temps down on the reference cooler and i still get a 10% overclock on the core of both cards. The gains are small from the memory overclocks anyway so unless im benching its no biggie.

Yes, it Black Screens right on the Desktop if i set it to 0

Whats your ASIC Quality? mine is 68.6% i think the Volts are 1.25v

If you run the memory at 1250 i can promise you it won't do that.

^Yep it's to do with the memory. My other card got crazy lines on the desktop if I set it to +0mV.
My ASIC quality is 71%.

EDIT: Matt does AUX voltage make any difference to temps?

I believe it does lower temps yes. Experiment and see what you can lower it to. I doubt you'll get as far as me because of your 100 mhz overclock to the memory.

My asics are 76.4 and 77.9%. The higher asic card runs hotter for me so i run that one on the bottom and more often than not my cards have identical temps under load, or within 1c of each other.

Give it some game testing. I expect the +50mv voltage on the core is keeping things stable. Try +25mv. :p

I've been running Heaven windowed whilst fiddling :p
I'll play some BF4 :)

Nevermind :D It actually black screened when I exited Heaven.

I was using the blue version of that one above... until i realised it has no option for Aux voltage. I can share my default blue theme one if you want.

Do any of those have Aux voltage control? When i last checked several of them none of them did. Its something i can't live without.

I don't see an option for Aux voltage in the screenshot you posted.

I know the Dragon ones do, yes.
