Powercolor reliability

Ive had two x8x0 series cards. the first x800gto wouldnt work in the system but I think it was drivers more than anything or power. the x850xt i now have is PowerColor and its working fine but it was pre-owned.
With gfx its luck of the draw. I think Saphire are good but ive never owned one.
Its like hard drives etc, people swear by different makes based on own experiences.

my 9800pro is still playing latest games 2 yesrs on .............so no probs would buy again

Powercolour X800XL here, no problems with it at all. Even clocks pretty well.

I've had a Powercolor 9700 Pro/9800 Pro/X800 Pro and X1800XT all of which were very reliable, the 9700 pro even continued to work (after a stint in the airing cupboard) after my cpu waterblock pipe came loose and dumped the whole reservoir on it.
