** POWERCOLOR RETURNS TO OVERCLOCKERS UK!! **

You have had my friends Powercolor R9 290 PCS+ for ~192 hours. He initially bought this card because of the above statement. He is too nice to complain but thought I should mention it here.

If any potential buyers are expecting Powercolor 72h turn around be warned, normal RMA rules apply, so this means up to 28 days.

I am disappointed in OCUK.

Hello

Do you have an RMA number or order number so I can have a look?

Thanks

Bailey

Sounds familiar!!

My 290 was gone for 45 days and still nothing. Refund to the original buyer had to be done :(

I was also advised by OcUK that the turnaround only applies to DOA units. How true this is I dont know but I wasn't impressed.

I will add though that Bailey did a sterling job of getting the refund sorted and even offered a shop replacement!

Powercolor and XFX is advanced RMA, within the 2yr period you RMA it and you should get a 48hr turn-around, if this does not happen simply post up on forum.

I arranged special terms with Powercolor and XFX to offer improved service. :)

Thanks Gibbo.

I will add I was in constant contact with Bailey regarding this and after 45 days he'd still had nothing. This isn't a direct Ocuk issue but Powercolor themselves. Despite the advanced RMA, I'd steer clear from their products.

The price of these back in Jan 2014 just shocks you now.

I was thinking the same (making the most of a thread revive really)!

Some of them have halved in value in 10 months (and that's not even with sale prices, just RRP). My 7xxx series have devalued less (not that you can buy them new anymore)!

As long as it is the same price of the card you purchased it will be fine :)

Great service as ever (I've previously swapped an Asus for a Sapphire), you don't get many other places offering this, it's like for like or refund :)
