PowerEdge 2950 PSU

Quickie...

Recieved the new server today..yanked out the PSU to have a look-see (as you do). When putting it back in it seems to be a very loose fit and will move in and out of its 'hole' rather easily.

Is this normal or is there a special way of getting these things to lock in place?

Yes - you wrap an ethernet cable around it.

Sorry - it was the only way I could see of making this relevent to the Networks & Internet Connectivity forum

Got a 2950 here. the PSU is tightly in. Has the orange lever clicked into place?

Yep, managed to sort it. The little plastic clip had to be moved then the black plastic arm comes down further allowing it to be clipped back securely in place.
