Hey guys

I need to build 3 computers for my company. They don't need to have powerful graphics (no 3d work or gaming) but need to be able to run 2x 1440p monitors, 1tb ssd, 32gb ram at least.

I can build them and will order the parts off OcUK but I would appreciate any help or advice on the part recommendations.

The software we run is Sage 50, ACT!, Office etc. Current PC's are i5-8600 16gb ram and are getting sluggish with the latest Sage updates etc.

Thank you in advance

Could you observe them a bit with task manager?

I assume they have SSDs?

Would help to know what the problem is, because though the 8600 might not be that great in single thread, they're still pretty capable.

What is the budget for all 3, or for each? I assume no parts are being reused?

I will observe them on task manager no problem, and report back.

Yes mate all have SSDs.

The budget is around £1000 each if possible. No parts reused.

Honestly, Id just buy something like HP or Dell Mini PCs, warranty etc is much handier than self builds for office situations, most have dual DP and or HDMI.

OCUK have a business side that will be delighted to help you. But I concur with the others that you will be far better off going for business uSFF PCs from the likes of Dell and HP, simply from the support / warranty POV.

If its purely for business use, you should probably look at Dell Optiplex machines or the HP equivalent. Probably save a fair bit of money and get similar performance
