I am blown away.

First time using this tech and am amazed.

Going through a surge protector, connected to a power strip with 10 other plugs, on a differentr ring main... still get a constant 78Mbps.

Did not even have to press any buttons or install anything, just worked.

Big thumbs up for TP link too from me.

AWESOME.

These are a bit of a mixed bag.
I'm in the process of getting rid of mine and going back to a wireless bridge.

I think it's all dependant on the wiring.

Glad it worked for you :)

I was surprised it worked so well.

An old house too with not so new electrics.

What speeds were you getting? Was it the same kit?

It is just to get me by untill I get the Cat6a installed in the Autumn.

The TP ones are good, if.they are the same ones im thinking of they're cheap as chips individually and quite slim as homeplugs go

I'm using the Belkin Gigabit Kit.

I get about 30Mbps, which isn't bad and is enough for streaming.

What I find annoying is the latency. I have an IP phone on the other side and there are periods of silence. I also live in a block of flats and when microwaves etc are on it gets really bad.

It's all down to your wiring, I get good speed out of them here. Had some Netgears, but they stopped working after a few months. Replaced with some Develos and they've been flawless. I cant really get good wireless here as i'm in a block of flats and everyone has bloody BT homehubs saturating the airwaves.
