Hi
I have powerline in my house, I think its netgear and it works great.
The problem is that I want to use it in my shed which I can do by taking an adapter there, plugging it in and using it but its a bit of a faff and was wondering whether there is a wifi version out there or an equivalent.
I have bought a powerline wifi booster but that doesn't get up that far sadly.
the only alternative I can think of is to get another adapter, use in the shed and plug that into a wifi router and use it that way.
A powerline with wifi would be aweseome.

They do exist.

Personally, I'd ditch powerline and just run cat5e or cat6 cable. Then chuck a wifi access point out in the shed.

If you had a poe injector, you could power the accesss point from the ethernet alone. (If it's a poe capable access point)

Problem is the routing of the cable, its over 100ft away. loads of aggro. Powerline seems to work for me though, many friends have allsorts of probs with it but for some reason it works. Since I switched to these Netgear plugs it seems perfecto. Thinking of just buying another adapter and doing the wifi access point thing with a router
