Powershot S2 SD Card limits

Everywhere I have looked about this tells me that the limit is 1GB SD cards, what with the price of 2GB cards being as cheap as they are I wondered if anyone has some info on wether they work or not in this camera?

Well i've got a 2gig adata SD card and that works fine.

Can do it says approx 700 to take at the highest setting.

i had an S2 and had a number of 2gb cards (never had anything but 2gb cards) and never had a problem with any of them and they were all different makes. Just make sure they are a reasonable fast one if you want to take advantage of the movie mode.

On the subject of movies, the limit is 1gb maximum even on a 2gb card.
