Hi guys. Went to Powerstation today to get some Bilstein B14 coilovers fitted to my Evo as the B4's were knocking slightly and I've wanted it lowered for ages!

Since they had some nice cars there I thought I'd take some photos and share them.

Can highly recommend Powerstation for work, their prices are extremely competitive.

nice ride ;)

that KTM looks mad though! love the crazy nose on it!

and the crazy length on the ferrari gear stick xD huuugggeee!

I wonder if this is the place to go to sort my S2000? There seems to be a bit of a lack of decent garages in the West Midlands - especially Birmingham. Do they do bodywork? Could make a trip of getting the hood fixed in Swansea and then drop back via Power Station.

I like the new ride height. That Ferrari looks completely mint.

No complaints mate.

West Midlands wise you could try C1-R in Stourbridge? I normally use them but it's an hour away and PS is 10 minutes up the M5.

Hi there

The great thing about Powerstation I doubt you will find a garage that has more talented people working their. No matter what car, Ferrari, Porsche, American, Jap monster the guys at Powerstation are able to work on them, their collective knowledge and skillset is very impressive.

But you have to remember that it was Powerstation who built the Litchfield Type 25 Imprezas all those years ago and had their own race team, they really know their stuff which makes their prices even more competitive. A specialist would potentially charge upto 10x, especially on exotic stuff like Ferrari's and to top it all of they have one of the best dyno setups too. :)

P.S. Chris is the rear a lower ride height? Did you get it all corner weighted whilst there?

...Could make a trip of getting the hood fixed in Swansea...

This the little shop/workshop that's like just off a main road down a back alley? :p

went to this place with my mate to get his mx5 softtop done.... results were....AMAZING! roof looked way better than the one it came with xD was a tighter fit and generally fit and felt better!

think my mate is taking his mk1 golf cab there to get his softtop done. :)

Gibbo, no it wasn't corner weighted, I honestly don't think it makes much of a difference.

Both front and rear is now lower, and it slants to the front as it should. In the shot of it on my drive it has the old suspension in the boot.

The car feels mega on the roads but I haven't had a chance to give it full beans yet due to the new AD08R tyres and stupid rain. One thing I have noticed is that I have to slow right down for speed humps now!

He's busy though! Can't get in until May. Annoyingly I'll have to find a glass window or cut mine out and send it to him a few days before... Nothing a bit of duct tape won't sort temporarily!

How are you finding the XP8s so far?

Noisy and dusty. :D

They stop well, but in all honesty since they've been on I haven't really had chance to push them all that hard, even at 50% on the brake pedal the car stops very well. I'll be able to add more when I get back from Spa/'Ring.

Corner weighting can make a huge difference if it's miles out.

So you gonna bring it to a track day when weather is better?

I'm changing the top mounts soon so may get it done then.

I'm off to Spa next week, when's the next UK day that's open pit lane?
