Contact your 3rd party claims company first and do not accept the offer yet, the 3rd party will want to check the offer to make sure it is for the correct amount. When I worked for a claims company the amount of times the banks would try to get away with making a smaller offer direct to the client less than what they were entitled to was quite high.

What annoys me about this whole claim back your PPI thing is that I garauntee that a large portion of people who have claimed it back were not missold it in the first place.

Obviously a very large percentage of the claimants are just band wagon jumpers....or very stupid indeed.
