The logo on number one makes it look like you're trying to hide the controller crimewatch style, wasn't until I saw the second shot that I realised it was a logo.

it IS on, this was in a fully lit quite bright room but ive used quite a small aperture and a low iso, so ambient (and therefore small leds on controllers) wouldnt show through
