It doesn't need to be that big, I rarely download lots of films and games etc. 250GB would be more than enough...priority for me is speed I guess.
EDIT: and you were right in buying individually, i'm getting all excited ahha!

The mobo is fine, Z68's are just a little more future-proof as they will be compatible with Ivy Bridge CPUs after a bios update.
