why would you think that cornering tradesmen/businesses into only sole traders would be profitable?

so let me get this right, your going to ignore all the small Ltd company's out there, and target work for 'sole traders' only?

who in turn, if they had half a brain on them, should be Ltd companys, purely for tax reasons?

we are trying to disrupt the way that people look for a tradesman - By having a completely transparent system the user can browse all sole traders profiles and select the right one for them depending on their needs

are you expecting to make a profit with that 'business model'.... people looking to hire a tradesperson won't pay to find one when you get fliers in your door or a local newspaper and if you're not going to charge the tradespeople then you're either going to have to pay out of your own pocket (ban idea) or put adverts on it which are 'tailored' to the market so could actually compete with your potential trade people.

Now I've read more than the initial post I personally think your idea is a waste of money/time for you, you're not going to be able to compete with a company that can put out a tv ad or the local news papers.
