Pre Load

Hi guys

I was wondeing how to pre load a game on steam

Does it start downloading automaticaly before release date or do i have to manually do it?

How would i do this?

You'll get a better response in the PC games section, and bumping after only 29 minutes is pretty impatient regardless.

You can pre-load a game if it says you can. Read the small print on the game page.

I pre loaded your mother last night, apparently i have to wait 9 months for delivery though!

When you pre-purchase a game from steam, it will pre-load the majority of the game files onto your machine at a pre-set date. At the official release date, I believe a final small download is completed and the files decrypted to allow you to play.

At least that's my impression of it.

Generally if there's a pre-load then Steam just goes ahead like it does with updates and starts downloading.

I'd just forget about it, it'll do it's own thing.

Not every pre-order can be pre-loaded. If it can, you'll see the option to do so if you right click the game in the Library tab.

Did you check for viruses first?

Big down load but fast download I am told you only took 30 secs.
