So...the Powercolor R290 PCS+ on pre-order @ £215.99 have listed under free items not only the AMD gold reward but also 8gb of amd ram. Is this an error?

make sure you have space between the pci slots because the heatsink is quite thick, great price I paid £270 not long ago and thought that was good

Motherboard will be Asrock x79 extreme6 so 3 slots between mean they will fit.

If it was the same ram as before it should be 2400mhz.

She won't have the hump that I bought them, just that my pc will be quicker that hers

Hmm, order doesn't list any free ram, though the gold coupon is listed. It was listed on the page when ordered.

I think the RAM was (and still is) listed as 9-9-9-24 at 1333MHz, but it did state 11-12-12-31 at 2400MHz on the stated AMD board/CPUs. I think its still the same, but the new high price puts it out of reach now.

Not complaining - the deals on the site are legion at the moment - just need to move earlier.
