Pre-Order: Titan TTC-NK85TZ Fenrir CPU Cooler

Cheers CatMangler - let me know what you find out.

Currently got a Noctua with two NF-P12s attached to the chassis fan headers, works nicely but I still think it could be cooler.

PS: I hope you don't actually mangle the fwuffy kitties, that would make me cry :(

I normally stick to wabbits and pesky pigeons but if a fwuffy ***** in my garden its fair game

Mr Delivery Man has delivered his package, so to speak.

Haven't opened it yet as still at work but the packaging mentions a 4 to 3 way adapter thingy. Infact its shown in the first pic of the series posted above. (short lead with white connectors)

just fitted mine, fits great on my p6t deluxe. simpley simple and awesome mount system! Was a breeze :D

Seems quite small though, so i hope it does well :) it is whisper silent too :D

theres a 4pin to 3pin wire too. Think it may have a resistor in to slow it down (noctua style?) not sure. Tis braided too, in white xD

no ram yet so cant test my pc with it working >.>

Ooo nice :D

Think ill grab one then :D

It's still a lot louder than the noctua just look at he dba, how can they cool that silent. wonder how well it would work with a noctua fan on.
30dba is very loud in a silent system let alone 39.

i cant hear it.

Bearing in mind this is just on a system boot with no ram (so no activity) but, its silent for me. (and ive done the whole silent rig noctua thing) just air movement noise.

17dba at minimum and 39dba at full whack. My akasa is 30dba and is extremely noisy. everything else is passive/nocttua 800rpm.
If people are looking for a silent system, then this doesn't look like the cooler for you. only bring it up as someone said it was silent, but yet is running a Vortexx Neo.

nope wont have anything to do with windows 7
have you tried stress testing and seeing if it is any cooler under full load. Otherwise try reinstalling, how much thermal paste did you use.

It could be too much TIM but tried stress testing and temps didn't move at all (stock speed). On stock cooler temps were 38 & 35 for core1 & 2

Just banged in a 10% OC then stress testing with new fan and orthos and core 2 moved up to match core 1's temp.

Didn't use the TIM that came with the kit but used Arctic silver instead. I'll test for few days and see how it goes.

17dba is pretty damn quiet for a fan, it's roughly on par with a Nexus fan for CFM/Noise when on minimum, and offers extra (noisier) headroom should summer be hot.

Mine arrived at work today, will be installing it tonight :D

Think i may be sitting one of these on a 920 d0 soon, looks very good for the money and frostytechs current no1 heatsink :)
