meh, the ball had pace on it and without the right touch it would have gone wide. It was a good little nudge to guide it in. Right place at the right time.. and a goals a goal.

But it was a shot that the player completely ****ed up though. Fair play for Torres being in the right place at the right time but it was still lucky.

No doubt it was lucky but most goals come about with luck. Deflections, hitting post and in ect.

The way we have been playing this pre season gives me hope we can win tonight... then again, Barca B team looked scary against Bayern. They play like the first team.

I think it was taken off as it's a "Utd XI", with those players above, plus some from other teams (rumoured to be Barthez, Ginola, Giuly, Trezeguet, Pokora and presumably some others).

Also looking forward to Van der Sar's testimonial tomorrow (worth mentioning as it's not in the OP), though it does bizarrely seem to be only an hour and a quarter long. Anyway, Ajax vs his dream team:

Van der Sar; van Bronckhorst, Neville, Ooijer, Ferdinand, Vidic, Cocu; Carrick, Giggs, van der Vaart (TBC), Zenden, Kuyt; Bergkamp, Del Piero (TBC), Rooney, Saha.

Professionally? Years ago. He does however coach at Ajax. I would imagine him being involved in training.
