Cleverly and Wellbeck have been really impressive. De Gea hasn't put a foot wrong in goal. Giggs is just sick as usual, wish him and Scholes could just play for ever and ever.
 
I wonder if Barca have ever played against players as rubbish as Obertan and Diouf :/

Nani on the other hand has been different class

Assists. All these technically astute, slots-straight-in players tonight... still needed Iniesta to deliver the final ball to Thiago, and I don't remember anyone else except him putting players through. Having Fabregas (unfortunately) guarantees that they have someone other than Xavi, Iniesta and Messi to create goal-scoring opportunities from, although ironically Fabregas seems more injury prone than either of the guys he will be warming the bench for.
 
Is that the 'big goal' that Owen was tweeting about back in April this year? :p

Missed the second half, but key to me in the first was this. Rodney must have had about:confused: 3 touched in 45 mins or so. and that is the problem- and that was the issue in the final too.

Also barca are a.bit toothless without messi running the defence ragged so.i wouldn't read anything into the result as the main things we couldn't resolve still have not been resolved in that respect.
