pre ssd install help

Crucial RealSSD M4 64GB 2.5" SATA 6Gb/s Solid State Hard Drive

hi All,

Looking to install one of the above drives into my rig as the main boot drive with office maybe.

Question is what should i be doing, as in best way to install it etc.
unplug all my other drives first or just leave them in.
do i need to run firmwares or drives fro this ssd drive.

Really any help or advise would be great right now.

I would remove all other drives, set the SATA port to ACHI mode in the BIOS and then continue with install the usual way.

I put all drivers act on my SSD and common used programs.
