Precision X causing crashing for you?

Just looking if anyone else is getting the same. I gamed yesterday with Precision X on and within 20 mins, I got a black screen followed by horrendous frame returns. I checked my logs and nothing. Turned off Precision X and no probs at all after a couple of hours. I thought I would do the same today and verify if Precision X was the culprit and sure enough, after 20 mins ish of gaming, screen went into windowed mode mid race (Grid 2) and after going back to full screen, horrendous frame returns. Turned off Precision X and all good for a couple of hours.

Anyone else getting the same or just me?

What do you mean by frame returns?

I've noticed a few times recently that I may suddenly drop from say 90fps down to 30fps for no reason. I've seen it happen while benching & in games. when it happens both cards still register as being at full speed & at the same load. The only way to clear it is through a reboot but I didn't try closing Precision X...

Now that you mention it i had a couple of crashes last night while playing BF3, black screen likes yourself. I always run Precision X while gaming to keep an eye on temps and fps but didn't think that would be causing it.

I'll try a few games with it turned off and see what happens.

Exactly that Nuwidol. On the occasion, I have seen a quick flash and then down to ~30fps. I am pretty confident that it is just Precision X doing it.

Its only recent that its been doing it. Maybe since 4.2.0. I've run Precision X for a while now & it definitely hasn't been doing it long...

Yes I run +300/+600 and it happens everytime.

Being serious for a minute, I have not upgraded to the latest version and have had no problems with the older one.

I never got it with the older one but am getting it with this one. Maybe coincidence and driver related but no issues since disabling it.

Well the Precision X conflicting didn't cause the issue. Had a crash with it late last night in Grid 2 and decided to roll back. Been using 314.22 for a couple of hours with no issues.

Iam also using 314.22 now, no crashes or anything just a lot of peps having trouble with the newer drivers! a poor new driver set by nvidia
