Predator: Badlands

The only really good predator movie is the Arnie original. The sequel with Danny Glover wasn't actually too bad though. The rest, well the less said the better. Worst of the lot was that Shane black film, surely one of the worst films I have ever seen :p
Wasn't Shane Black in the original predator?

Edit - yes he was! But he also directed and wrote 'The Predator'

Polished it off the watchlist earlier and was pleasantly surprised with it for the most part, yes the Predator didn't have the 'classic' look but rest of the film apart from the ending (felt like someone loved Aliens too much) was an enjoyable watch, if they had some more physical models might have looked better and make the animals feel more alive.

Elle Fanning did well with playing the 2 sisters but making them different enough from each other.

Finally got round to watching this and what a waste of time. It seems they've tried to make it into a kids marvel type action film with pointless gimmicky stuff to look 'cool'. Only way it could have been worse was if Michael Bay directed it :D.

Acting was ok, as above though Elle Fanning did a great job playing the androids.

Going to give it a watch tonight, as just said by djcj, I do have a feeling it's going to be "OK" rather than great.

Loved the Alien Earth series and had not really heard/read much about it. But for Badlands i've been told it was great by a number of people, will see how it is.

I enjoyed it, the lighter tone was fine given how much Predator we've seen over the years. Even my wife enjoyed it and it's well outside her normal tastes.
