Looks almost like a Predalien to me, not sure if that picture is from the actual movie or some random image they found/ai generated.

How does the new predator look more like 'a guy in a costume' than the actual guy in a costume from the original!

The face didn't look quite right. It was CGI than practical effects I think?

Yeah looks too rubber texture - needs the gloss shine to make it look organic, though the sub surface scattering and just general quality of the older prop is in another league - it looks like the original designer actually looked closely at animals like crabs and lizards, etc. to work up the surface detail.

Oh me, that’s proper rubbish. Pretty sure you can get that mask in Walmart for Halloween.

Unless that Hunter is from their equivalent of the Fens (inbred and fugly).

Maybe it will explain it in the movie but yeah first impression the face looks kind sub par. Almost lazy in comparison to the other costumes in the past.

Somewhere on the Alien timeline between 3 & 4 then as Wey-Yu was brought out by Walmart at least a couple of decades before Alien 4.
