Predator killer of killers

Not a fan of animated stuff anyway, although I was able to make it through the entirety of the Clone Wars/Rebels box set.
This looked tolerable, right up to the appearance of the OTT roided-up Predator.

They need to retire the predator franchise along with the alien one. Not been anything worth watching since the originals.

Prey (2022) was good imo.

I enjoyed Romulus too, far from perfect but it showed a lot of potential. The upcoming Alien tv show is very promising also, fingers crossed it lives up the trailer.

Regardless, I've heard a lot of positive things about this movie and I'm looking forward to checking it out.

I watched this and enjoyed it a fair bit.

Given it's from the same guy behind Prey I'm guessing they're taking "Predator" in a different direction to established lore (book/extended universe) unless the ones involved are different clans? There's clearly a follow up movie or two planned which I'd be happy to watch, I'd recommend for the fun factor.

Alright I'm gonna be that guy. Off screening an army with a group of 6, no one dying? Lol. That female viking had way too much plot armour. In the beginning small village, she takes out 90% like fodder. Then she 1 ups the predator, raising a heavy anchor which the predator couldn't hear/notice. He 1 shot her whole crew but she didn't even take any severe wound.

The 2 samurai yea can give that a pass.

The pilot figuring it can't see heat lol. Him off screening a predator and disarming their collars lol. Him figuring out how to fly an advanced ship, come on.

But yea it was ok.

was that woman in the end credits from prey?

I really enjoyed that. Yes there was stuttering in the end battle.

The 2 samurai storyline went on for a bit too long I thought but overall I certainly enjoyed the film. Predator fans should all watch this one…

Watched this last night, pretty good but what was with the animation? It just seemed perpetually "choppy" in terms of motion, it's like they removed all the motion blur or something, it just felt odd to watch in a lot of scenes like it felt overly sharp in movements where there would be motion blur.

It came across like rendering stutter to me, maybe a budget problem and unable to redo? It only seemed to happen noticeably at a handful of points.

I didn't really feel that too much...with the exception of the final scene where the Predator guards are doing their Raiders bit and the camera angle is up high and behind them. I honestly thought they were doing some sort of funky dance moves. It was very bizarre.
