Thanks for this. I always said I wouldn't get a prelude until Dolby Digital Live was confirmed to be working. Looks like the option's there now.

Handy as my Audigy 2 has been misbehaving of late but I'd probably better hold off for now due as I'm a bit skint. Onboard sound is starting to grate a little though...

Edit... Just wondering - can you have DDL and analogue both on at the same time? Would be one less button to press to switch between speakers and medusas.

As you're a gamer, Prelude for the win. The higher EAX levels would swing it for me.

It's for both. Thats why ALchemy is bundled with the driver, which is detected for Vista and it gets installed.

Now I'm not sure if this is a problem or not but if I select 24 bit, 192000 Hz :-

I hear the music but there is "static", this is with "Dolby Digital Live" enabled.
