Refused to finish and give answers, because frankly the questions are so limited, seem incredibly biased towards giving the opinion that foreign ownership is bad.
For instance the last question, the foreign owners haven't been fantastic, obviously, but it wasn't mismanagement, it was being caught in a worldwide economic crisis. Aswell as the fact the club actually got into more trouble when owned before the more recent foreign owners and under someone considered one of the best English managers. Those guys put the club in a huge amount of debt, sold up, and the foreign owners only really got into trouble when his fortune was lost over a period of a few months when the economy went boobies up.
Then you've got the fact that, the questions are simply bad. Should the regulations be stricter, in what sense, should the be strict in so much as the club can't be bought on a lone, or that foreign managers can't be drug barons working in another continent, what about their oil companies poluting the planet or simply moral owners.
Is your club under foreign ownership, well being an Arsenal fan, neither answer is actually applicable, we are owned by a consortium, with several UK and foreign owners, thats what I mean the question simply doesn't allow for accurate answers.
Are you happy with the way the club is being run, in what sense, this should be two questions. Are you happy with the current success levels of the club, are you happy with the financial success or lack thereof, of your club.
Then maybe a question added, should football club ownership, being like any business in the world, somehow have different rules for who can and can't buy them?
Should football clubs have any more protection from going out of business than any other companies in any other industry in the UK, if so, why?
For a dissertation I'd say, make the questions completely unbiased, allowing for more accurate answers, and draw conclusions from the answers, rather than have the questions limited and seemingly biased, as that will largely draw the conclusions for you. I mean it literally as a good professor would mark you down for that, as you should draw conclusions from the answers. The way the questions are worded and the limitations you can see what the answers will point to before anyone takes the questionaire.
