Some team news is arriving and stuff so I thought I'd start this.

Saturday
Blackburn v Hull, 15:00
Fulham v Arsenal, 17:30 Setanta
Liverpool v Middlesbrough, 15:00
Newcastle v Bolton, 15:00
Stoke v Aston Villa, 15:00
Tottenham v Sunderland, 15:00
West Brom v Everton, 15:00

Sunday
Man City v West Ham, 16:00 Sky
Wigan v Chelsea, 13:30 Setanta

Monday
Portsmouth v Man Utd, 20:00 Sky

Owen is on the bench, so it'll be the same team as against Man U I reckon, with Donaldson making way on the bench. We really need to win this game though, otherwise the Man U game will have been in vain.

Daily Mail continues its excellent journalism this weekend.

In spite of incentives like free booze for those who got in their bar-room orders up to 50 minutes before the kick-off

Who was told about this 'incentive'? Nobody? That's right, it was just a gesture by Ashley, off the cuff.

Daily Mail said:
There were almost 5,000 empty seats at a club where there used to be a waiting list for season tickets

Bolton only bringing about 500 fans, lots of people on holiday, lots of people without money (credit crunch) of course had nothing to do with this.

Daily Mail said:
he grabbed the winner with a glancing close-range header from Geremi's well-flighted free-kick.

What free kick?

Daily Mail said:
And nobody could argue that he did not wave his magic wand over this match to help produce three points that were as precious as they were undeserved.

Precious three points? Yeah, because we desperately needed those...
As for undeserved? I dunno how this is true, we made more possession, more chances, more everything.

Daily Mail said:
Gretar Steinsson's spotkick was stroked powerfully to Given's left but the goalkeeper was down in a flash to save it at full stretch

Didn't Nolan take it?

Daily Mail said:
But the main item on the agenda will be discussion of a new contract for the Merseysider.

Didn't he grow up in Wales?

He is rubbish, he always has been rubbish, he always will be rubbish.

You play him in your side you can only play one way and thats lump it in and around him, he cant chase through balls, he cant outrun even the lardiest of defenders, he cant head, he constantly gives away stupid fouls because he cant jump without holding a player down and he isnt clever when he is on the ball either.

What he does do well is if the ball falls at his feet and he happens to be in the box, he does quite well there, but thats it.

Yeah I agree.

'He can't head', exactly right, this is the worst thing about him, he's so tall and still can't win headers, hell, Owen scores more with his head.
