Premier League publish squad lists

Yup. In five years time all players will be blonde, blue-eyed, and know all the words to "God Save The Queen" and "Rule Britannia"
 
Isn't it already the case that in Spain you are only allowed to name a maximum of 3 players from outside the EU in your matchday squad of 18?

That seems to be a rule that is much more likely to affect the 'homegrown' nature of a squad than this thing we have implemented...

Just saying that if it's good enough for the world/european champions maybe it's good enough for us!
 
I thought we had the 3 players from outside the EU rule until a few years ago. Unless you can prove the player is of special talent, e.g. Alex Song. :p :o

*The vast majority of fans don't satisfy all of that criteria, particularly the last two.

*Great we're turning them into Hitler's wet dream of a perfect role model. I know the other thread was short of ideas but are things really that bad?

I don't think there is a particularly British set of features, I think we are proper mongrels through and through :D

well I thought that was what you might have been getting at, but it didn't make sense that they would be singing Rule Britannia instead of Deutschland Deutschland Uber Alles...

The Queen is German of course, so we would still presumably be trying to save her.
