I think Moyes would be a pretty good move for Everton. He's proven he can get good results between 6th-12th and that's realistically the best Everton can do for now. They need stability while settling in to the new stadium.
It's the best they can do full stop with the current spending rules. All most teams need is a manager who can take players that cost 3p and sell them for £80m to Manchester United. He was perfect for that. Sometimes finish near the european places, get picked apart and finish 15th then go again. West Ham thought they were better than that, they aren't. Neither are Everton. Until PSR get's burned away that's all teams like Everton will ever be, even if they built a stadium that could hold 250,000 people it makes no difference.

According to the Beeb, apparently Moyes is in discussion. Not sure he'd do well this time round and ruin his reputation, they'd probably just stay up under him, but looking at the squad to raise money...Branthwaite seems about it, not sure cheap players would flock there to play

I don't think thjey need to raise money anymore for interest payments on debt? Of course cheap players would go there, the same as they always have. Every single decent player everton had in the last 20 years was a bargain buy developed or from the academy. Spending money was where it went wrong. I'm sure they would take a Cahill, Arteta, Coleman, Baines, Lescott, Stones right now over any buy they have made over 20m. Not that it matters either way, they aren't winning anything in any of our lifetimes anyway. Maybe that fella that claims he's living until 130 has a remote chance of seeing them win a Milk cup or whatever it's called these days.
