Yeah, but remember we have a (relatively) new man in charge nowadays. I honestly have no idea what kind of patience Kroenke would have if the fans really turned on Wenger. As mp260767 said, they've already booed him for a friendly. Imagine what they'll be like after our annual cuffing at Old Trafford at the end of the month.

Everything I've read has suggested that Kroenke will only concern himself with the financial side of the club and that football matters will be left for the board. And while there's a section of fans booing, I'm sure the vast majority of (sensible) Arsenal supporters will understand it makes little sense sacking Wenger mid-season.

Wenger has a very unique football philosophy and way of management and that's been firmly stamped on Arsenal. Changing manager will mean changing everything at Arsenal and you can't make those changes mid-season.

The only way I can see Wenger leaving before next summer would be him walking or if attendances dropped so much that the board had no choice.

Wenger will out by christmas, unless Arsenal are top, in all cups and doing well in Europe...

Mancini will be out unless he's in the same place as above.

Pards will be out too unless he's working some magic there. When he was with us this time last year he had a strange habit of not getting along with higher management at the club which could be his down fall.

It's difficult to look beyond Kean and Warnock. If I had to pick 1 I'd go for Warnock, simply because I can't stand the ****.

If you don't win something this year then I can see him leaving by 'mutual consent' at the end of the season but after everything he's done for the club, there's not a chance he'll be sacked mid-season.

Sounds about right to me.
What I've said to people about Wenger is I think the key point will be if we fail to qualify for the CL (i.e. finish outside top 4 or muck up a qualifier). There will be a sea-change in opinion about him if that happens.

I think Warnock will end up getting sacked, it seems the board are wanting to get rid of him already, but are probably wary of a backlash from the supporters.

Wenger would never go midway through a season, unless they were bordering relegation(which isn't going to happen) or he has serious health problems.

And with what he has done for Arsenal, he should be shown the respect of being able to leave by "mutual consent" or by joining the board at the end of the season. I think it would be disgusting to sack him part way through a season, just the same it would to do the same with Ferguson.

Pardew for me.

If he doesn't get results, the fan will want blood especially after how poor they have been in the transfer market.

I can't see him getting sacked anytime soon. He's Ashley's yes man. Not many managers will sit there quietly while players are being sold off and only a tiny percentage of the money brought in is being used to bring in replacements.

or if attendances dropped so much that the board had no choice.

The way Arsenal count attendance's that will never happen. A season ticket holder counts as a sold seat, and therefore someone has attended, whether they have or not.

Sorry to say but I think Wenger has a chance. Ivan Gazidis has already said he has the support of the board, but if the fans want him out they will consider it..

If the club goes out of the CL (we could face several good teams) and then fails in several of the games, I think there could be tremendous pressure on him, particularly should he fail to add to the squad.

However I think if he adds 3-4 players between now and the end of the window, results would be irrelevant until the end of the season.

I'm not an Arsenal Supporter or fan of them but I feel for them as Arsene needs to man up when his players do something wrong, instead of cuddling them or protecting them by saying he didn't see it(why I outta) he should treat them like men and then they might play like men!!!!!

I wasn't talking about season ticket holders not showing up but if demand for the remaining tickets dropping so much that it became noticable. The quickest way to get a board to take notice is to hit them where it hurts, in the pocket.

However saying that regardless of the fact it's a sold seat, if enough season ticket holders don't show up then that will no doubt effect any decision too. Not only will it make the dissatisfaction clear but ticket sales only make up part of a clubs total matchday income.

I think for demand for tickets to have got that low (If there are 40k Season tickets, so always 40k at the games) Results would have already dictated that Wenger would have been shown the door.

Some of the matchday revenue is already outsourced, such as the food.

I doubt attendances will ever drop that much. There's such a demand for Arsenal tickets that I'd expect most slack would be picked up by those that can't usually get to go.

I don't want to see Arsene go, but as has been said, there's already discontent, and the season hasn't even started. If Cesc were to go, and no-one else brought in from now, and we were to lose our CL qualifier, it would get very precarious.
