Premium Bonds

My family invested £400s worth of premium bonds (100 for each member of the family) and have yet to win anything over about 2 years i think. I keep telling myself that im not winning little prizes beacuse I'll win the big one :D lol.

I dont mind losing a little bit of interest to have the chance of winning a lot of money.

You used to be able to buy £1, I think. Back when £1 was worth rather more than it is now. For all the people who have won prizes, there are many more who have never won a penny and whose bonds bought decades ago have lost almost all of their value in real terms.

Really all you are doing is giving the government an interest free loan.
