I use my PressureKingPro all year round but it gets really appreciated in the colder months when you get in from work and can whip up a 25 minute curry or stew that tastes like it has been slow cooking for most the day.

Thought i would start a thread so that i can steal some culinary creativity from you OCukers and try some new stuff out.

At Christmas i pressure cooked some ham in Toffee apple cider and finished it in the oven with a honey coating.

Just whack the pork joint in the cooker with cider gone relatively flat, peppercorn and anything else you'd like. I think i did it for about 25mins per lb but i could have probably gotten away with much less

I did a pressure cooker gammon joint over Christmas. Nothing flash, just a supermarket unsmoked joint. Not long since had the pressure cooker and only used for stews, curries etc so far, so I kept it simple as a trial and just pressure cooked with a cup or so of water in the cooker, then drizzled a bit of honey and put it in the preheated oven for quarter of an hour or so just to finish it off.

After much google searching, i settled on 75 mins for my 2.5kg joint, which works out at 30 mins per kg, so around 10-15 per lb.

It was pull apart and delicious, much nicer than my previous slow cooker efforts!

I just bought myself an Instant Pot. Got it over the PKP because of the stainless steel inner pot rather than the non stick coated looking one on the PKP. Anyways, did a load of Youtube trawling before I bought it and of all my views I am most impressed by a channel called "Pressure Luck", if you google for that you'll find his channel and website. His stuff seems really simple and he is an entertaining bloke as well. Seems to be entirely focused on pressure cooker cooking.
