Prevented a mugging (update pg2)

I was sat at my PC, when I heard a lot of shouting, "Help, NO, Stop, HELP", that kind of thing, now my rooms at the front of my house, ground floor, so I was at my front door pretty quickly. Above my hedge I see 3 heads and a clear struggle, I shout "OI" as loudly and as manly as I possibly could, and ran down my drive only to see 2 girls let go of a womans bag and start to walk away.

I told the lady to get inside the house with my house mates where it would be safe I think, ran in my self, grabbed the house phone from the hall on the way into the lounge, through it at my house mates who were all on the sofa's and yelled for him to call 999 for fishponds rd (my road :D )

I ran after the girls who looked back, saw me, and changed from a walk to a run, one of them was allot slower than the other, one of them stopped to confront me, telling me she'd phoned her dad, and that the woman she was beating on had slept with her brother and was claiming to have baby pics (WTF  )

I just ignored her really, told her the police were on there way, which apparently meant i was pedophile gay boy, (again WTF  ) and she started walking off again, I followed at about 200 meters and occasionally she would try and run, her friend was in the distance by a fair stretch, at this point I could tell they were both on there phones, i didn't know if they were ringing each other or friends to help them. I'm not guna lie, i was a bit concerned that big men, there fathers and friends, were guna turn up before the police, but just as i was thinking that my house mate runs round the corner, now there were 2 of us following this girl, as the other one had gotten to far into the distance.

Now this girl must have been a freaking idiot, because she went down another street, confronted us, told us we were pedophiles and that once again her bro and friends were coming and he was 30 and guna kick our asses, all the while my house mates on the phone to my house telling them what street were on, about 2 minutes later a couple, boy and girl (the boy was in full street desert camo gear sports apparel  ) and the girl said "excuse me, you got time" and then started whispering to them, this was literally just as the police turned up, one car with 2 of them in it. I told them which girl it was, and she was promptly put in the back of the car. She went mental once she was in the back of it, like a retarded chimpanzee, claiming the woman had hit her first, that id hit her, and that she was guna **** everyone up. This made me laugh, and the officer getting her in the back told her "iv heard it all before love" and put cuffs on her.

The couple who were obviously friends of hers were telling her to calm down, and I was impressed by there rouse to start talking to them by asking them the time pretending not to know them. Another police car turned up, along with 2 more house mates, and I gave my statement, and the second car policeman gave me and my house mates a lift back. My house mates are calling me a hero, my night has been very eventful, I don't know why im posting this, I think i just wanna get it written down so i remember it properly.

There were 2 more police cars outside the house when I was given a lift back, and i was seperated and asked to give my statement again because I had witnessed the attack, the police were amazing in how fast they got to me, and im very great full they and my house mates did before the young girls friends had a chance to show up and stop me following them. Allot of people give allot of stick to the police, especially in motors, but when it comes down to what I consider serious crime, they were spot on, and were all very nice.

Good man.

Sounds like a bunch of 16 year old girls, LMFAO @ PEDOFILE GAY BOY ROFL.

Nice one. This evening i went to pick up my sister from the train station, only to find her on the phone to the police. The station was pretty quiet, but she said a group of kids had broken into a white van parked just up the road. She'd seen it all and rung the police. Just as we were driving off the police asked for the vans registration so i swung round and pulled up behind -- and the kids had come back. This was with a couple of taxi's sitting waiting for customers about 50m away! I dont know what's going to come of it, the police didnt need us to stick around.

Rock on! Good job mate, good to see some people aren't afraid of teenage girls empty threats!

And might I say well done to the police too :)

That'll be Blair's Britain  where the criminal is given a mansion to live in etc..

In seriousness, well done sir. Tonight I followed a lorry for some distance through london as I was concerned the driver was intoxicated or had something to hide. Calmed down after a while though

Highfive OP!

Well done dude. Many people would've left them to it, but good for you doing your bit. Nice one

Unfortunately.. they now know your face and your house.. this is the price to pay for justice. I hope nothing more comes of this. Good work!
