Previous Aldi weekly specials?

I bought something ages ago at Aldi, which says it has a 3 year warranty on the box... It was on a weekly special thing.

Does anyone know how I can find out what week it was on offer? Then I'll know if it's still under warranty or not, as it just broken. :( They have the weekly specials on thier website, but they only have the current (not previous) ones.
 
Well, I've got the reciept somewhere, but it's gonna take some finding. :(

I thought I could save myself some trouble by seeing if it was less than 3 years since they sold the thing. If it is, I'll find the reciept, otherwise I won't waste my time. :)
 
has it got a date of manufacture on it somewhere? try googling the model code along with aldi... a lot of offer forums list their deals so it might be listed there.
 
Could always phone them up.

Slightly OT, the polarised sunglasses they have now for £3.49 are blimmin' good value, I bought 2 pairs to replace my old pair and they are very good VFM.

Well, I found 2004 written on it somewhere, so that means it may or may not be in warranty... If it said 2005, I'd be reciept hunting already. :)

Even better, it's still in warranty... Now to find the reciept.

EDIT: Anyone ever returned any electrical things there? I've got the box, but I'm guessing a reciept is also needed. Anything else needed?
