Prey

Not sure how long it takes to complete, but it is definitely worth it. A very very good game in my opinion.

Aye its been a while, don't recall how long it takes but it was a pretty good game and i don't think it was that short either.

I vaguely remember it being on steam until 1 unfortunate sale... then they ran out of keys and it never came back

Innovative, different from quite a lot of titles out there and worth a few quid. I think I am right in saying that it had some sort of input from idsoftware. Not sure how well it will have held up (graphics wise) after being quite an old title now, I played it yonks ago.

I agree with most of the posters here. Excellent game, first one i've bothered to complete in a long time. Might give it a re-run soon, jump on the bandwagon and get playing.

It's fun but it's a shame the game doesn't continue like it starts. Also there's one bit where it's obvious something has been cut out but they've forgotten to remove the reference to it. Still fun though.

It's ok. The main thing that I remember about it is that the opening level when you are on Earth is really good and then when you first get sucked up into space. That part of the game is really good and sets a scene for a great game. the problem is that the great game doesn't materialise. Once that part is done, it's just bland walking around a spaceship. It's still ok but can't help but think that the opening scene sets you up for so much more. I'm guessing that the demo is the Earth part? If that's the case, you have seen by the far the best part already.

id say its worth £5, very fun single and good online... on some maps you can use the grav pad things to stand on the roof and fire down upon enemys :D

And if everyone else said it was shocking and I was the only one saying it was good, would you still come out with that crap? I notice you didn't add anything to the thread, my post may have been very one sided but at least I conveyed an opinion rather than act like a sarcastic ****** and add absolutely nothing.

Meow!
I thought my sarcastic drivel would have conveyed my opinion that the game is one worth picking up. :)

Lol, i just assumed this was recent...

Bledd you numpty ><

Nothing wrong with bumping old threads if you have something new to add, pet hate of mine is people moaning about thread resurrections, far better than the 999 threads we get on the same game because people won't even use the search (quite often they are asking for help on something that's already been solved too). I like seeing everyone's views in the same place :)

An intriguing game with a unique storyline. I only completed about 20% of it though and then lost interest. I think I had recently finished Doom 3 and this felt just like another Doom level on a spaceship. I dunno...it just never held me. By no means a trashy game (Ive seen worse) worth the £5. I got mine for £3 from Game.

Because it uses the Doom 3 engine its immesely tweakable so when the game bores you dive into the weapons files and mod the heck out of them hee hee.

I loved it when it came out... the graphics were good, the gravitational gameplay was fun and the weapons were well designed. It was an interesting take on the shooter formula.

The indian stuff was a bit meh but the rest was great.

Yeh rooms were repetitive and enemies, felt like a chore near the end to finish it compared to when it started off unfortuantely. Played it on the XBox 360.
